I'm a Cranbrook graduate, and a passionate student of Mathematics and Economics. Throughout my schooling, I kept noticing the same flaw running through the system: students were being taught to memorise worked solutions and rehearse essay responses, but rarely to grasp the deeper meaning behind the concepts themselves.
For someone who genuinely wanted to understand how the world worked (the principles, the mechanics, the why beneath every formula and theory), that was deeply frustrating. Yet time was never on my side. Every attempt to engage at a deeper level seemed to come at the cost of exam marks, and the system quietly pushed me back toward surface-level learning just to keep pace.
Everything changed when I rebuilt my study from the ground up. I developed strategies that fused real conceptual understanding with the structure needed to perform under exam pressure, and the results followed naturally.
I founded LearnIt to give every student access to that same approach: one that doesn't trade depth for marks, but delivers both. That's also why we built our own learning platform, and why every student we tutor gets it free, the thinking shouldn't stop when the lesson ends.
