Learn It Tutoring
This policy explains what we collect when you enquire, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Last updated 24 October 2026.

When you fill in an enquiry form on this website we collect the parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number, and details about the student, which may include their first name, year level, current school and the subjects they need help with, along with anything you choose to write in the notes field.
We only ask for a student's details so that we can match them with the right tutor. We do not ask for a date of birth, an address, a Medicare number or any government identifier, and you should not send those to us.
Enquiries are made by a parent or guardian, not by the student. Information about a student is provided to us by the adult making the enquiry, is used only to arrange and deliver tutoring, and is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, to match a tutor to your child, to arrange lessons, to send feedback after sessions, and to invoice you. If you become a client we also use your contact details for the practical running of tutoring, such as scheduling changes.
We do not send marketing email to people who have only made an enquiry, and we do not add you to any list without you asking.
Enquiries submitted through this website are sent to Zoho CRM, which we use to manage our client records. Zoho stores this data on its Australian servers. Our tutors access only the information they need about the students they teach.
We share a student's details with the tutor assigned to them, and nobody else. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with other tutoring businesses, and we do not pass it to advertisers. We will only disclose information where the law requires it, or where there is a serious risk to someone's safety.
If you enquire and do not go ahead, we keep your enquiry for up to two years in case you come back to us, then delete it. If you become a client, we keep your records for as long as you are with us and for seven years afterwards, which is the period Australian tax law requires for invoicing records.
This website uses Google Tag Manager to run measurement and advertising tools from Google and from Meta, which owns Facebook and Instagram. These tools use cookies to count visits, show us which pages and ads lead to enquiries, and let us show our ads to people who have visited the site. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can control the ads you see through Google’s My Ad Center and Meta’s Ad Preferences.
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you or your child, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete it. Email Jordan@learnit.net.au and we will action it within 30 days at no cost.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can contact us first, and if you are still not satisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
All of our tutors hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check. We verify each check before a tutor meets a student and we keep a record of the verification.
